Prom Makeup for Nikki Lago (020213)

Hi everyone! Sharing with you another makeup gig that I had a few days ago. :)

Last week, Melanie, one of my followers, sent me an email inquiring about my hair and makeup service. She introduced herself and told me that she watches me in YouTube and all. I was sooooo happy! I'm beyond happy to receive messages like that. All of my hard works are worth it. :) Anyway, she arranged an appointment for her sister, Nikki, who was going to attend their HS Prom.

On the day of the gig, Nikki and their Mom went to our house to had Nikki's hair and makeup done. They chose to come to our house since they live not far away from us. Sayang lang hindi kasama si Melanie. I wasn't able to meet her.

Melanie sent me different photos of the makeup looks and hairstyles that Nikki preferred (pegs) through email. She wanted smokey eyes with full lashes on and a messy braided/sided hairstyle.

These are some of the photos she sent me.

For the eyes:

I fell in love with this eye makeup! I wanted to do it on me, actually! LOL! So, here's what I did:

I didn't copy exactly the eye makeup because I want Nikki to still look juvenile so I toned down the eye makeup a bit. Her eyes still looked mesmerizing, right? :)

For the hair:

About the hairstyle, I actually preferred Blake Lively's hairstyle but when I saw Nikki in person, I thought her hair is not long enough to recreate the Gossip Girl star's hairstyle. So, I decided to use Demi Lovato's hairstyle as an inspiration instead. Also, the night before my appointment with Nikki, I was watching Bebexo in YouTube and I've seen her Looped Side Swept Prom Hairstyle. So, that's what I did to Nikki's hair though it's not really the same. I just used it as an inspiration as well.

I love Nikki's skin and face! Flawless and sooooo purdy! :)

The best thing was they loved my work! Nikki and Melanie's mom, Ms. Grace, loved the look especially the eye makeup! I was so happy to receive compliments from them. If they are satisfied customers, then I'm more than satisfied and I'm one blessed woman! :) Not too long after Nikki and Ms. Grace left our house, I received an SMS from Melanie saying that they really loved Nikki's look. They sent her a photo of Nikki and Melanie loved it, too! Yeheeeyyy!!! :)
