Applying sunblock or sunscreen is very important because it shields your skin from the harmful UV rays. Being exposed under the sun can speed up the aging process and may even result to skin cancer. To avoid having wrinkles and brown spots at an early age, it is highly recommended that you apply sunscreen before heading out.
However, sunscreens can be really thick and greasy. Thankfully, I was introduced to this sunblock which is very friendly for people with oily and combination skin type like me. Plus, it's perfect for our weather here in the Philippines.
Product Name: YC Skin Care Pore Minimizer and Oil Control Sunblock (SPF 150)
Price: P250
Available at: YC SkinCare (online shop)
This YC SkinCare Pore Minimizer and Oil Control Sunblock is love at first use! It is in a form of gel so it is easily absorbed by the skin and doesn't give that greasy and heavy feeling unlike other sunscreens. The SPF is also very high so it's a perfect weapon to combat the harmful rays of the Sun!
I never leave the house without using this sunblock. I apply it on my face and neck after putting on my moisturizer and before doing my makeup. Yes, it also helps minimize your pores and can control the oiliness of the skin. Since it's in a gel form, it leaves your skin matte but without that dry feeling. Also, since it's a pore minimizer and an oil control product, it can already double up as a face primer (in my opinion) because it serves as a barrier between your skin and the makeup you're going to use.
TIP: Allow your skin to absorb the YC SkinCare Pore Minimizer and Oil Control Sunblock before putting on your makeup.
I highly recommend this sunblock especially to those who have oily skin or combination skin type like me. It's definitely worth it! YC SkinCare Pore Minimizer and Oil Control Sunblock is available in 15g and 50g. Hi Ms. Bing, do you have a post on how to determine the skin type?
ReplyDeletePore minimizer...seems interesting. I will try this one day soon. I don't really have a huge problem with my pores, but I do have areas in my face where pimple had been there and my nose where I used to have those unsightly white and black heads, they need pore minimizing :) Thanks for this post. Will try it one day soon. :)
ReplyDeleteHi! Can this be applied first before the Moisturizer?
