Fall Makeup: Halo Eyes inspired by Batalash Beauty

One of my favorite beauty channels in YouTube is Batalash Beauty because they are so freakin' amazing, gorgeous, funny, and everything!!! Hahaha! I really love them, especially Samanta. I like how neat and perfect she does her makeup and any look suits her especially dark/vampy lips which are kind of my thing as well. Her skills are magical and her personality is just awesome! :)

Awesome Makeovers!

Last week was the College of Arts and Sciences week at our school. Part of the CAS week celebration is the Search for the Mr. and Ms. Arts and Sciences. My former classmate, CJ Pineda, won the title Ms. Psychology last September so she got to represent the Psychology Department for the beauty pageant. I was her HMUA last September and last week, she hired me again to do her hair and makeup. :) And even though she did not win Ms. AS, we're still very proud of her!

Now, I just want to share with you her before and after photos! CJ is also a freelance model that's why she's used to people doing her makeup and hair. Walang arte, arte! :)

CJ in her formal wear:

Cutie CJ in her Cosplay getup! The highlight of the pageant was Cosplay that's why the contestants all ramped in their best anime/comic character costumes!

So, while I was doing CJ's hair and makeup, some of our professors came in and watch me do my thing! Haha! They were so amazed because they didn't know there's more to makeup than just applying lipstick and mascara! :) At the pageant, there will also be a contest for the best professors. Since our teachers saw my makeup work on CJ, they asked me to do the makeup of our professor, Ma'am Doris, who's going to represent the Psychology Faculty. Of course, I said agreed! Go PSYCH! :) Here is Ma'am Doris' transformation:

I'm so happy they all loved my work! I appreciate it a lot! Tanggal ang pagod ko! :) Oh, and I also want to thank my friend, Dane, for accompanying me that day and for being my dakilang P.A.! Hahaha! Love you, teh!

I vlogged that day, too! So if ever you want to watch us cheer for CJ, here's the video:

Fun Summer Makeup Collaboration with Joyce Sola and Chriselle Sy for PROPS

One of the best things about being a blogger is that you get to meet a lot of people. Some, you may get along with while others? Well, let's say you're just not meant to be with them. ;-) Thanks to PROPS, I got to meet Joyce of candyloveart and Chriselle of Cosmetic Fixation. We just have fun together, including Janine, the owner of Props Tools and Cosmetics! :)

A few weeks ago, Chriselle invited me and Joyce for a fun Summer-themed makeup collaboration for Props. Of course we said yes! We even talked about the colors that we will use so that we won't end up doing the same looks. I'm sure you have already seen our banner at the beginning of this post above but here's our individual photos so you can see our makeup looks better:

Mine. I went for bronze and blue colors for the eyes and red-orange for the lips.

Chriselle's. She picked pink and yellow for her eye makeup and I love it! Reminds me of marshmallows! Yummehhh! :)

Finally here's Joyce's look. She chose green and blue which reminds me naman of mermaids!!! Isa kang sirena, sis! Haha! :)

Of course we all used PROPS palettes for our makeup looks. Here's the complete list of products that I used in my tutorial:

FACE
Glory of New York First Base Primer
Ever Bilena Whitening BB Cream
Maybelline BB Silk Poreless White in Nude Beige
PROPS Disco Matte Palette (bronzer)

FOTD (022313): Drugstore Diva + Ana Patricia's Meet and Greet

Hi everyone!

Today was a very fun day! I attended Ana Patricia's Birthday Meet and Greet earlier today at Trinoma along with other fellow bloggers and of course, Ana's fans! Fan din n'ya ako, super! Haha! Hi Joyce, Jhelai, Shebby and Kirby! :-D

We met Ana Patricia at Yellow Cab, Trinoma. Her sister, Abbie, was there too. I was so glad because the sisters are very kind and accommodating! They treated everyone who came! We ate A LOT of pizza and chips! Not to mention the giveaways and gifts that we received from the fun games that Ana and Abbie hosted. :) We also had coffee after. Super fun talaga! And the bonding moment is absolutely priceless. I wasn't expecting that Ana will stay with us 'til night. It was so nice to meet new people, too, who have the same passion for makeup like me and my blogger friends. :)

I just have to congratulate Ana for  very successful meet and greet! :) Congratulations, babe! :)

GOOD TIMES! GOOD TIMES! :)

Anyway, let me just share with you my FOTD because I got a lot of compliments! Yiiiii! :) Y'all know how I love drugstore and local products because they just never fail me! Today, I used local and drugstore cosmetics and the result was awesome as usual! My love for cheap and affordable products will never die as long as local and drugstore cosmetic brands keep on producing high quality but affordable products.

This is how I look like after over 9 hours with NO RETOUCHING AT ALL! Except for the lip color BUT I reapplied my lipstick very lightly na lang. Awesome, right? Here are the products I used:

FACE
Ever Bilena Whitening BB Cream in Oriental
Careline Oil Control Face Powder in Honey + Fanny Serrano Two Way Cake in Silk
(to highlight the under eye area)
Fashion 21 Two Way Cake with Milk Moisturizers No. 2 (to set the BB Cream)
Fanny Serrano Two Way Cake in Fantasia + In2It brow powder (for contouring and bronzing)
Shawill Collagen Rosy Touch Blusher No. 1

EYES AND BROWS
San San Eyebrow Pencil No. 2
ELF Eyelid Primer
NYX Nude on Nude Palette (taupe and beige)
San San Age Defying Liquid Liner
Maybelline The Colossal Volum' Express Mascara

LIPS
NYX Slim Lip Pencil in Plush Red (for lining my lips for that crisp and neat edge)
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Smitten

ALL DRUGSTORE AND LOCAL PRODUCTS! I know sometimes I use high end products and soon I know I'll be experimenting more with high end cosmetics but I just want to share with you, AGAIN, that just because it's expensive, it doesn't mean it's always BETTER! ;-)

Stay awesome and accomplish your mission! :)
