PRODUCT REVIEW: Victoria's Secret Metallic Eyes

On my 22nd birthday, my best friend, Lee Ann, gifted me this Victoria's Secret Metallic Eyes. This is my first Victoria's Secret cosmetic and actually, my only VS makeup. I am a big fan of their perfumes and lotions but I wasn't really a big fan of Victoria's Secret cosmetics because of the not-so-good and not-so-convincing reviews about a few of their cosmetics. It's awesome though that my best friend gave me this because this is actually pretty awesome.

So, this is the palette. It is actually designed to be used for day and night eye makeup looks.

The packaging is quite sturdy, not bad at all. It's made up of sturdy carton and it has a magnetic lid so the eyeshadows are secured when you close the palette. At the back of the palette, product description and ingredients are written and other copyright stuff.

When you open the lid, you will find instructions of day to night makeup look which is useful and helpful for beginners.

The palette contains 6 different shades of eyeshadows, 1 highlighter, 1 eye liner and an applicator which I've already thrown away. For me, this palette is convenient because it's almost like a complete package. The only missing item is a mascara, right? :)

This is a closer look of the highlighter and the black eyeliner. I haven't used the highlighter yet but it's really creamy and I think it's pretty good. The cream eyeliner is not that impressive because it's not that pigmented and it's kinda difficult to apply but I can deal with it. It's still nice. It has a matte finish and it lasts for long hours.

The eyeshadows are obviously metallic. The shades are all earthy and great for smokey eye looks so, this is perfect for daily and nightly makeup looks.

I thought they're going to be chalky but it turns out that they're actually pretty impressive. The colors are pigmented and the texture is smooth so there aren't a lot of fall outs so, that's really awesome.

Eyeshadow shades:  beige, light gold, taupe, brown, pewter (dark gray/silver), gunmetal (black)

I am really grateful that Lee Ann gave me this palette because it's awesome. It's so convenient to use and I can totally bring this with me when I travel. I am going to rate this 4 out of 5 seals of approval :-D

I am not sure though how much this palette costs and I don't know yet where you can purchase one of this. But if you're interested, you can always google it. ;-)

This is one look that I created using the Victoria's Secret Metallic Eyes.

I have also used this on my Day to Night Makeup video tutorial. If you haven't seen that one yet, click here.

Stay awesome my dear dudettes! :)
