Product Review: Mary Kay Concealer

During school days and on regular days, I like wearing only minimal makeup. You know, just to look fresh, flawless, and more presentable. I usually just conceal my imperfections on my face, such as blemishes, set it with powder, apply tinted brow gel to groom my brows, apply mascara to open my peepers, and dab on some lip stain. However, looking for really good concealers can be tricky. It should match your skin tone, should match your skin type, it should have a decent coverage, and it should be long-lasting, especially if you'll be out for hours. In this post, I'll be sharing with you one of the best concealers that I've tried.

I don't know why, but it seems like Thailand skin care and cosmetic brands are becoming popular in the online beauty community here in the Philippines. I've tried a few and they're actually pretty awesome. One of the Thailand skin care brands that I've been loving is Bangkok Face. They offer different facial products that will cater to different skin types and skin conditions. What I have here with me to share with you are the Bangkok Face Gem Fruit Pudding Cream and Bangkok Face Lotus Sparkling Mask.

Product Review: YC Skin Care Pore Minimizer and Oil Control Sunblock

Applying sunblock or sunscreen is very important because it shields your skin from the harmful UV rays. Being exposed under the sun can speed up the aging process and may even result to skin cancer. To avoid having wrinkles and brown spots at an early age, it is highly recommended that you apply sunscreen before heading out.

However, sunscreens can be really thick and greasy. Thankfully, I was introduced to this sunblock which is very friendly for people with oily and combination skin type like me. Plus, it's perfect for our weather here in the Philippines.

Hello everyone! How's it going? It's been almost a month since I last updated my blog. I've been busy with school and other things that's why I wasn't able to post new entries and even upload new videos. Thank goodness, I finally found the time for my blogging life!

Anyway, you've probably seen already on the title of this post what's this about. Last month, I received the KikaySiMaria Face and Body Set from Ms. Eloisa Co (fellow beauty blogger), the girl behind KikaySiMaria. She partnered with The Queen's Essentials to create her very own skin care line. The set includes four products --- Glutathione Lotion, Obagi Blend Soap, Collagen Toner, and Collagen with Emu Oil Cream.

Let's talk about the facial products, first. I've been using this set religiously since last month. I decided to wait until I finish the moisturizer before blogging about it to really see the result. The KSM Skin Care line have whitening and anti-aging benefits so most of the products from the set contains collagen.

To be honest with you, I didn't know that Burt's Bees has a very wider range of products in the market. I always thought they only have lip balms and hand moisturizers so I was really surprised (and embarrassed) when I saw their other products which are, by the way, all natural!

Burt's Bees first ever product is their very famous lip balm and as what they say, that tiny tin can made an entire company. Oh, and did you know that Burt, that old man that you have probably seen on some of the brand's packaging, is a real man? And yes, he's still alive! Burt Shavitz, 79 years old, recently hailed as "the world's most famous retired beekeeper by the New York Times. Despite of Burt's Bees success and his fame, he still managed to keep his hippie and humble lifestyle.

Watch this trailer to know more about the amazing and bearded Mr. Burt Shavitz. :)
