Beauty Blossoms in Manila with PIXY!

On August 6, 2014, PIXY cosmetics was launched here in the Philippines. Pixy have already made its way to Japan, Indonesia, and Malaysia before they came here in our beautiful country. The launching of Pixy was held at White Space Manila with a very beautiful Cherry Blossoms theme!

What is PIXY?
PIXY is a Japanese-formulated and Indonesian-manufactured make-up line which flatters skin tones, while infusing the same light-reflecting, skin-perfecting properties, making Japanese cosmetics high in demand. It is developed by Japanese technology with natural ingredients from Japan with a quality standard which caters to the Asian skin.

Before the event started, the guests were given the chance to roam around first to take photos and explore the PIXY cosmetics.

Look at that! It's like you're really in Japan at a park under Cherry Blossoms trees! :)

Oh, hello there! :)

The event was hosted by TV personality, Ms. Patty Laurel-Filart. Yes! It's VJ Patty! She is so gorgeous, by the way.

Pixy is under Mandom Philippines Corporation, a member of the Mandom Group of Japan which imports and markets cosmetics and toiletries products.

"Mandom is excited to bring Pixy here to the Philippines because we believe our purpose is to contribute to the beautiful, healthy, and pleasant living. Filipinas have an innate happiness and natural beauty. Pixy allows women to enhance this beauty by offering quality products to highlight their Truly Asian Beauty," shares Hiroyuki Mitsuoka, President of Mandom Philippines.

Pixy designed 2 exclusive looks directly inspired by the biggest catwalk in the world: the city of Tokyo! The looks are called Tokyo Kawaii and Tokyo Glam which were taught by professional makeup artist, Ms. Xeng Zulueta who's been in the makeup industry for more than 12 years! I absolutely adore her! She was named by The Philippine Daily Inquirer as one of Manila's "creative movers and shakers" under the age of 30 and she is also one of the International Elite Artist in the world.

Here's Ms. Xeng doing the Tokyo glam look.

Too bad I wasn't able to take a closer photo of the two beautiful models after the makeup demo but I learned so much from Ms. Xeng. The products she used were all from Pixy and I can't wait to try this two looks using the newly launched cosmetic brand, too!

Thank you, PIXY Cosmetics and Mandom Corporation! I am so excited to try out these Kawaii cosmetics. I haven't tried any of them yet but I heard the two-way powders and mascara are great. Have you tried them already? :)

Stay awesome and accomplish your mission! :)
