theprojectawesome series: HOLIDAY MAKEUP LOOK V - NEW YEAR'S EVE MAKEUP LOOK

Finally, I'm down to the last look for my Holiday Makeup Looks series! I really saved this look for last because it's something that you can wear for New Year's eve. Although, I know it's already the 3rd of January today but I already uploaded the video tutorial last December 29, 2011. I chose to add glitters on my eyes because it represents the beautiful sparks and shining lights from fireworks! I hope you will love the 5th and last Holiday Makeup Look. :)

theprojectawesome series: HOLIDAY MAKEUP LOOK IV - PINK FROST

I'm just one makeup look away in finishing my Holiday Makeup Looks series. This is the fourth and second to the last Holiday makeup look. The last look is going to be a look for New Year's eve. I'm not fully decided though if I'm going to make a creative one or something that is more wearable but you'll know the final decision once you've finally seen it. ;-p Anyway, I decided to use glitters for the last two makeup looks for this series so, this is the first of two. My inspiration for this is snow since it's Winter season (though we don't have that here in the Philippines). I just chose the colors pink and purple to make it look more girly or kikay. And because of these thoughts, ideas and inspiration, I decided to name this makeup look "PINK FROST".

You can watch the video tutorial here:

PRODUCTS USED:

FACE
Cover Girl and Olay Foundation in 225
Fanny Serrano Two Way Cake in Orleans
Fanny Serrano Two Way Cake in Rajah
Ever Bilena Cheek Blush in Raisin

EYES AND BROWS
In2It Waterproof Eyebrow Colour in Eyebrowns
ELF Eyelid Primer
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Pots and Pans
Shawill 12 Color Cream Eyeshadow
ELF Beauty School 32 Piece Eyeshadow
NYX Slim Eye Pencil in Gray
In2It Waterproof Gel Liner in Very Black
Shawill Pretty Color Eyeliner in 04
Maybelline theColossal Volum'Express in Glam Black

LIPS

This makeup look will be less dramatic without the glitters so, if you want, you can just skip the glitter eyeliner or use a black or plum eyeliner as an alternative. But of course we cannot call that look as PINK FROST anymore. ;-)

So, that's it for now. Stay tuned for the finale of this series. If you happen to land here on my blog, suggestions are absolutely welcome and will be highly appreciated. Kindly leave a comment in the comment box stating your idea about my final Holiday makeup look if I should do an artistic/creative one or go for a more wearable look.

I'll catch you again on my next blog entry and next video. Please don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel, by the way.

HOLIDAY MAKEUP LOOKS SERIES III: CLASSIC RED LIPS AND SULTRY EYES

So, this is my third look for my Holiday Makeup Looks series. This time I went classic. Sultry eyes and classic red lips is just a timeless look, it's one of those looks that never goes out of style. I love sporting this kind of look. With that neutral sultry eye makeup and red lipstick, I'm always good to go! The question is this: CAN YOU HANDLE THE RED LIPS? Well, as for me, I can confidently answer that question that I can handle it! I love wearing red lipstick because red is my favorite color and for me it is the color of confidence! :)

Anyway, here's the video tutorial of this Holiday look:

Ain't the scarf a beaut? It was actually my Mom's. I just borrowed it... and when I say borrow, it means, it's MINE already (as long as it's from my Mom!) hahaha!

HOLIDAY MAKEUP LOOK SERIES II: GOLD EYES, CORAL LIPS

This is the second part of my Holiday Makeup Looks series. I was actually inspired by celebrity makeup artist, Gina Brooke. She said that gold eyeshadow paired with a coral lip gloss is perfect for this holiday. I agree with her because gold is a very festive color. This look is very simple, you can even make this as your everyday makeup look.

Watch the video tutorial HERE.

I used the foiling technique in applying the gold eyeshadow. Foiling is applying your eyeshadow with a damp brush. Check out the video to see how I did it. This technique will heighten the impact of the eyeshadow. I also learned this from Gina Brooke.

HOLIDAY MAKEUP LOOK SERIES I: SMOKEY OLIVE GREEN EYES

Hi everyone! So, this is my newest makeup series, the Holiday Makeup Looks. Actually, there will be another one which is the Fab Fall/Winter 2011-2012 Makeup Trends and I am currently working on the first video of that series right now so, stay tuned for that. Continuing on to the other makeup series, this is the first part or the first makeup look. This look is actually inspired by Xteeener. Yep, you guessed it right! I love her! I love her style and her looks so, I usually copy the makeup looks from her videos, well, some of her videos and not all of it.  Anyway, this makeup look is very easy to do. I rarely do green eye makeup looks so I decided to do it for a change and I loved how it looked like in the end.
So, I did a smokey olive green eye makeup. Since the eye makeup is already a little bit dramatic, I just went for nude lips. I really hope you'll like the makeup look. Watch the video tutorial in my YouTube channel or you can just click here or watch the attached video below if it's going to work. Hahaha! Because sometimes the thumbnail doesn't show up so, just to be sure, I'm going to link the video.
