Korea’s influence over our cosmetics industry has gained considerable momentum through the years — and it promises to grow even bigger. The first wave of the Korean cosmetics invasion brought to the Philippines a plethora of Korean cosmetics brands that focuses mainly on skincare. The Philippines however, stands as the only country in South East Asia where makeup outsells skincare. Despite this, there hasn’t been a brand that can truly stand for Korean makeup until today.

When I first heard about Pink Sugar Cosmetics, I was really intrigued and was excited to check their products out since I learned that it is a local brand here in the Philippines. That's why I was so glad to be invited in their makeup launch that took place at Stella Woodfire Bistro a couple of months ago.

Pink Sugar Cosmetics is a local label that is a homegrown makeup brand bound to take space on every Pinay's top shelf. I remember when I was just starting to explore the makeup and skin care world, Céleteque was one of the first skin care brands that I have tried. I learned about it through my sister.
