♥ Korean Haul (Eyelash Adhesives, Double Eyelid Tools and, more!) ♥

During my Meet and Greet last August 3, the owner of MyrSkin, Ms. Myra, handed me a bunch of Korean cosmetics. Most of them are eyelash adhesives. I was supposed to give away some of it during the event but there were too many prizes already so I just decided to give it away on other events. I might include this on my 3K+ subscribers giveaway which I will announce soon! *wink*

I will keep some of it and I will give away a few of these Korean cosmetics. :) So, what are those things that I'm talking about? Read further.

1. Darkness Eyelash Adhesive
- comes in a squeezable tube with applicator stick

2. Darkness Eyelash Glue and Gel
- another eyelash glue with applicator stick. Reminds me of the Nichido eyelash adhesive but this is way bigger

3. Darkness Eyelashes Whole Aspect Adhesives (Premium Eyelash Glue and Gel)
- another eyelash adhesive, same as the Darkness Eyelash Glue and Gel on number 2. However, this is from their premium line so I think it is more heavy duty. It also comes in a tube which is stored in a black pouch. This eyelash adhesive is black unlike the other eyelash adhesives which are just transparent.

4. Darkness Double Eyelid Whole Aspect Adhesives (Premium Eyelash Glue and Gel)
- I was a little confused with this product because it says on the box that it's a double eyelid adhesive but it also says Premium Eyelash Glue and Gel. It also looks the same as the Darkness Eyelash Whole Aspect Adhesives, even the packaging. They just differ in color because the eyelash whole aspect adhesive is in black while this one is white. Also, it comes in a silver box with a maroon pouch. Hmm... I think this is also for your falsies because that's what it says on the instruction at the back or maybe both functions? Oh, well! :-D

5. Blue Magic Oil Control Film
- Hope it works great!

6. Secret Magic Double Sided Tape
- This is for those who have monolids/Asian eyes. I actually don't know how to use it and I don't think I'd be comfortable wearing them.

6. Préta Compact Powder
- This powder broke my heart! I was so excited pa naman about this product but when I opened it, it was broken! :-( I didn't know what happened. The powder's texture is very silky and the upper part looks like a highlighter. The shade is a tad lighter than my skin color so I think this would be perfect to use as a highlighter for me. Still sad about what happened to it. It looks really pretty pa naman! *sigh*

Stay tuned for my review of these Korean products and of course, for my upcoming giveaway! Giveaway na naman??? YES! :)

Thank you, Ms. Myra!

Please visit MyrSkin on Facebook for more info about their products and you can also find them at PureBeauty stores.

Stay awesome and accomplish your mission! :)

HUGE HAUL (Glory of New York, Props, Sigma Beauty, MyrSkin, Fab Beau Lusst, Color Society, My Lucid Intervals, Bella Pelle)

You know what? God is really good! He's always there for all of us and He never fails to listen to our prayers. Even when we don't say it, He knows what's inside our hearts and if it's meant for us, it will happen. In this post, I am going to share with you the blessings that I've received recently. All of these our material things but I just want to say that this will never happen if He hadn't blessed me with what I have and with what I can do (talents, skills, etc.).

I've received a lot of awesome stuff this past month and I'm really happy and thankful for that! Some were sent/given to me by awesome companies and most of them were the prizes that I received from winning My Lucid Interval's anniversary makeup contest! Click here to watch my winning entry! :)

See this big eco tote bag from Landmark? This is filled with lots of ahhhh-mazing goodies! Thanks to, Donnarence of My Lucid Intervals by the way for this bag! Haha!

Here's everything that you can find inside the bag! Told ya, A LOT OF STUFF! :) I didn't knew how much I hauled until I arranged this and took a photo! HAPPY DANCE!!!

I recently partnered with them for their Affiliation Program and they were so kind to send me a complimentary or welcoming gift! I received one of their newest eyeshadows which is in the shade Moonbeam and as well as their travel size blending brush. Can't wait to use them! The brush is really soft! :) Thank you, Sigma Beauty! :)

Next products that I received last June are these BB creams from MyrSkin! They already sent me their Encara BB Cream before but then sent three more tubes plus three samples sizes of their Cara Airfit BB Cream!!! Hmmm, do I smell a giveaway? I dunno! Sole Proprietor of Props Tools and Cosmetics, Janine, gave this to me as a gift when we had our TV guesting a couple of weeks ago in Homepage at Net25 for a demo of makeup for rainy season! with Ms. Lala of Color Society :)

Moving on to the next products, I received awesome goodies from Fab Beau Lusst! Jackie of Fab Beau Lusst is like a fairy godmother! Haha! I just posted a status in my Facebook a few weeks ago saying that I want contact lenses and BOOM! Jackie commented on my post and she said she'll sent me (as well as my super pretty friend, Joyce Sola of candyloveart) contact lenses! How cool is that? Answered prayer again! Fab Beau Lusst even included two lip tattoos! Yey! :) This is my very first pair of circle lenses, by the way! It's the Sparkle Gray lenses. I'm not used to wearing them because I was afraid it might hurt my eyes but one day, I just woke up and told myself that I want contact lenses. Haha! They are an additional factor to eye makeups, ya know! Look at this photo from my latest tutorial:

Makes a huge difference, doesn't it? Thanks to Fab Beau Lusst! Can't wait to use the lip tattoos as well! Oh, and by the way, if you haven't watched my tutorial yet about this look then please click here. :)

The Project Awesome's June 2013 Favorites

Are you kidding me? Already half of the year had passed! Bilis talaga! Yesterday, we welcomed the 7th month of the year and for beauty bloggers, that means it's time for sharing your monthly favorites. Hahaha! So, here I am, sharing with you the awesome products that I've been using a lot this past month.

1. Glory of New York Translucent Powder No. 1 and 2
- I used to avoid translucent powders because I always thought that it would leave a white cast on my face. I was scared to use them until I conquered my fear (LOL) and tried one of the products that Glory of New York sent me - their Translucent Powder. I use shades 1 and 2 but mostly no.2 this past month. I must say that translucent powder is my new favorite kind of powder! It just seals my makeup and keeps oiliness at bay! Sometimes, I only use concealer and set it with this translucent powder. It's just a whole new me! Before you can't let me finish my makeup without setting my foundation or concealer with a colored powder but now, I can ditch my pressed powders and just stick with my beloved translucent powder. Hihi! The Glory of New York Translucent Powder really makes my makeup last all day, keeps oiliness at bay for long hours especially on my eyes (I have very oily lids) and my t-zone area. Please visit Queen B. on Facebook for your orders and inquiries. :)

2. Glory of New York Total Coverage Foundation No. 210
- Hands down, one of the best foundations I've tried! I'm not a fan of cream foundations but this changed my whole perspective. It provides amazing coverage that's perfect for videography and photography. It stays on for long hours and doesn't wears off or slides off. Of course, I only use this occasionally since the coverage is medium to full. I'll be writing a thorough review about this very soon. :) Please visit Queen B. on Facebook for your orders and inquiries. :)

3. Glory of New York Total Cover Up Concealer No. 104
- In times when I'm too lazy, I just conceal my dark circles and other imperfections on my face. I found myself always reaching for this concealer because it has good coverage and even though it's a cream concealer, it doesn't cake and doesn't move even when I sweat. Please visit Queen B. on Facebook for your orders and inquiries. :)

4. Glory of New York Dual Foundation No. 42 / No. 29
- This is also one of the best powder foundations that I've tried. The texture is smooth and silky and doesn't fade out easily. Longevity is awesome! When I'm not in the mood to do full on makeup but wants a little more coverage, I apply concealer and use this powder foundation to set everything. Amazing results, I'm telling ya! Please visit Queen B. on Facebook for your orders and inquiries. :)

5. Glory of New York Mineral Blush in No. 41
- Great color payoff, impressive staying power and gives me a healthy glow on my face. 'Nuff said. Read my review about Glory of New York Mineral Blushes here. ;) Please visit Queen B. on Facebook for your orders and inquiries. :)

6. Glory of New York Lipstick in No. 635
- Okay, you all know how much I love my GNY lipsticks but last June, I always reach for the shade no. 635! It is a mauve color that's perfect for any occasion! :) Please visit Queen B. on Facebook for your orders and inquiries. :)

7. Essence Get Big! Lashes Volume Curl Mascara
- THE BEST drugstore mascara everrrrr! It really saves my thin eyelashes all the time! It gives length, volume and thickness to my eyelashes and the best part is that it's very affordable for only P169.00! :)

8. Essence Eyebrow Stylist Set
- I hit pan on my In2It Waterproof Eyebrow Color already but I haven't emptied it yet but I always find myself reaching for this brow set everytime I do my brows! Since I've been using it a lot, In2It brow powder is always left hanging, waiting to be emptied. Haha! I've written a review about the Essence Eyebrow Stylist Set and if you haven't read it yet, click here. :)

9. Cara Airfit BB Cream
- I'm not a big fan of BB creams but I think this is, by far, the best BB cream that I've tried. Impressive longevity and covers up imperfections well. Read my review about it here. Please visit MyrSkin on Facebook for your orders and inquiries. :)

10. Fashion 21 Perfect Stick with Tea Tree Oil
 - This stick concealer from Fashion 21, I must say, is one of the best local cosmetics in the market. Well, that's just me, ha but I am really loving this stick concealer. It can be used as foundation, too! Coverage is light to medium and stays on for long hours as well. To know more about it, please click here. I've been using this a lot to school! :)

11. Fashion 21 Defining Eyeliner in Black
- It may not be the best local eyeliner but I don't know why I keep on reaching for this whenever I do my eye makeup. It's not the blackest eyeliner that I own but I love using this in tightlining my eyes and using it as a base sometimes for my eyeshadow. It's only P100.00, FYI! :)

12. Artist Studio Angled Brush
- Soft bristles, not super dense but dense enough to use in applying blush, bronzer and contouring powder. This brush has awesome quality yet super affordable at around P150.00 or maybe even less! Try it out! I got this from Landmark, Trinoma. :)

13. Virginia Olsen Minerals Sculpting Brush
- The name of the brush explains it, it's the perfect sculpting brush or contouring brush! It just makes it easier for me to achieve that gorgeous sculpted cheek bones to make my face look slimmer. The bristles are cruelty-free, uber soft and very gentle on the skin. :) Please visit Virginia Olsen Minerals on Facebook for more inquiries. :)

14. Beauty Cosmetics Natural Blending Eye Brush
- This super affordable blending brush is made out of high-quality goat hair. The bristles are surprisingly soft even though it looks a little porous. It blends eyeshadow faster than my older blending brushes. Please visit Beauty Cosmetics on Facebook for your orders and inquiries. :)

Okay, so these are all my June 2013 favorites! I know I've featured 6 Glory of New York products but what can I say, I love their stuff! :) Share your monthly favorites, too! :)

Stay awesome and accomplish your mission! :)

Product Rave-iew: Cara Airfit BB Cream

Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post. The product was sent for me to try and give my personal perspective. Reviewing the product is my own decision. What's written here are all my own thoughts and opinions.

Some of my fellow beauty bloggers and friends love using BB Creams because it's perfect to use for everyday looks since they are lighter than foundations and have other benefits such as Sun protection and moisturizing properties. I'm not really crazy about BB Creams. I mean, I use them, yes and I've tried a few but I'm not really a BB Cream girl. Maybe it's because I haven't found the perfect BB Cream yet? Oh wait, I think I already did! ;-)

My favorite BB Creams are Ever Bilena Whitening BB Cream and Maybelline BB Cream because they both have smooth and decent coverage. The Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream is good, too but it's too dewy for me, considering I have oily-combination skin.

A couple of months ago, MyrSkin sent me the Encara BB Cream and a sample of Cara Airfit BB Cream. Both really impressed me because of that, I started to develop love for BB Creams. Let me share with you the Cara Airfit BB Cream first and I'll talk about Encara BB Cream in another post. ;-)

Source: www.facebook.com/MyrSkin

Product Name: Cara Airfit BB Cream
Price: Php 1,250.00
Available at: MyrSkin

I'm not really sure yet if it really eliminates dark spots, fine lines and other unwanted marks of aging because I don't use it everyday. In fact, I have only used it twice but it's just an amazing BB cream that's why I'm writing a review about it this soon.

Ms. Myra of MyrSkin sent me three sample sizes of the Cara Airfit BB Cream. The sachets are really small and I actually thought that one sachet is equivalent to one use only but the product goes a long way and I think one sachet can be used 3-4 times. Well, depending on the size of your face. Haha! I have a big, round face and I think I can use one sachet thrice. :)

The great thing about BB Creams is that they are multifunctional. They serve as foundation, concealer, makeup base, sunscreen, moisturizer, and some even have anti-aging properties and antioxidants. The first thing that I look for in a BB cream is a good coverage. Moisturizing benefit is just a close second. Third is Sun protection and I love that Cara Airfit BB Cream has SPF 37. :)

Cara Airfit BB Cream has a thick consistency but it's very lightweight. It glides on very smoothly on the skin and very blendable and buildable. It has light to medium coverage. If I'm going to compare it to Encara BB Cream, Cara Airfit BB Cream has thicker texture and more coverage. It smells amazing, too! I love how it smells! :) The only thing that I dislike about it is that it is available in only one shade and it's a little lighter than my skin color.

Of course, I road tested this BB cream and took photos periodically on that day for before-and-after photos.

PICTURE NO. 1: Bare face

PICTURE NO. 2: Applied the Cara Airfit BB Cream all over my face. Took a photo with and without flash. As you can see, it is lighter than my original skin tone. However, it covered well my blemishes, dark circles and the redness of my skin. Flawless and smooth finish, too!

PICTURE NO. 3: Since Cara Airfit BB Cream is a little lighter than my skin color, I used a darker shade of powder to match my original skin tone. Now, it looks way better! Perfect! ;)

PICTURE NO. 4: With complete makeup on. Took photos again with and without flash. My face looks so flawless and healthy! I did not apply any highlighter and blush.

PICTURE NO.5: Took a photo after two hours. I got shiny around my t-zone but coverage still looks awesome!

PICTURE NO. 6: This was how it looked like after a total of 5-6 hours. My face looked oily but still looks decent. Coverage wasn't fading that much and I did not retouch at all!

PICTURE NO. 7: Please excuse my very unpleasant face! Haha! This was taken after a total of 10.5 hours and after doing the laundry and all. My face was super oily and shiny! However, I'm still impressed because come on, 10 hours and coverage was still pretty decent? Very imposing! If you see unblended marks on the sides of my nose, those were eyeglasses marks.

PICTURE NO. 8: To see how it would look like if I retouched, I blotted the oil from my face. I did not use any powder, just oil blotting paper and I was surprised to see that the coverage still looks good! Although it had worn off already under my lower lash lines because of my eyeglasses. The redness around my nose was starting to show already as well as my pimple scars but very slightly! Very impressive, indeed!

After seeing all those photos, need I say more? Haha! I love Cara Airfit BB Cream (period)

Let me list down the pros and cons.

PROS
- Amazing coverage
- Impressive staying power
- Moisturizing
- Scent is so fresh
- Smooth and flawless finish
- Has SPF 37
- Semi-matte finish
- Perfect for people with oily-combination skin

CONS
- Available in only one shade
- ?

I honestly can't think of any other negative things about it. Hmm, maybe it's availability? MyrSkin's products are available in Purbeauty outlets in Serendra and Harbor Point. I'm just not sure if they're already available in Trinoma but Ms. Myra told me that they'll be available there soon as well in Alabang Town Center. If you're from the province, it sucks because those places are too far from you but it's a good thing that you can order online! Just visit MyrSkin on Facebook. :)

I absolutely recommend Cara Airfit BB Cream! It is, by far, the best BB Cream that I've used. To all you BB Cream lovers out there, you should give this a try. ;)

Stay awesome and accomplish your mission. :)

MAY 2013 FAVORITES!!!

Hi everyone!

It's that time of the year again --- another monthly favorites post! Almost half of the year had passed already, it's so surreal! Ugh!

Anyway, let me show you my May 2013 favorites:

     - One of the best primers I've tried so far. I think I have included this already in my previous monthly favorites and it keeps coming back in my list because it's really a great primer. Something that you can really trust! :) Visit Queen B. on Facebook to know more about the product.

2. Encara BB Cream
     - One of my favorite BB creams ever and my current favorite to use as foundation. The coverage is light but buildable so you can do medium coverage with it. It does a good job in concealing dark circles and covering redness of the skin. The only downside for me is that it cannot fully conceal my dark spot/pimple scars. Other than that, no problems at all! Review of this product soon. Visit MyrSkin for more info about the product and to order. It's only for P499.00 from P999.00!

3. Glory of New York Mineral Dual Foundation
     - The coverage and the staying power is just to die for and I commend Glory of New York for the availability of the shades! Visit Queen B. for more inquiries about the Glory of New York Dual Foundation.

4. Essence Eyebrow Stylist Set
     - I love that the shades are not too warm. It looks natural and the texture is silky. Staying power is pretty good, too! I got this for only P189.00 from SM Megamall.

5. Essence Get Big! Lash Volume Curl Mascara
     - This mascara just does a good job in curling and volumizing my eyelashes! However, it's not waterproof  and I'm a waterproof mascara kind of girl so I always seal it with a waterproof mascara. Hee! :) Only P169.00 also from SM Megamall.

6. Glory of New York Lipstick
     - Yes, I've featured this lipstick many times already but this month, the lipsticks that I wore in almost all of my appointments are all Glory of New York lipsticks! My current favorite shades are 709, 26, 62, and 708. Visit Queen B. on Facebook to place your orders and for more inquiries.

7. Beauty Cosmetics Blending Brush
     - This Beauty Cosmetics blending brush makes blending eyeshadows way easier! To know more about this blending brush, please read my review about it here.

8. Beauty Cosmetics Rounded Precision Brush
    - I love the Beauty Cosmetics Face Precision Kit but the Rounded Precision Brush is my favorite out of all the 5! I just think it's the most versatile brush from this kit. Only P450.00 from Beauty Cosmetics! :)

9. Beauty Cosmetics Face Perfection Kit
     - Gotta love all these amazing brushes from Beauty Cosmetics! It's a must-have for all makeup artists and enthusiasts! Plus, it's really affordable, too for only P950.00. Visit Beauty Cosmetics to purchase your own kit! :)

10. Brown Smokey Eyes
     - My current go-to/favorite eye makeup look is brown smokey eyes! It's just perfect for all occasions and very quick and easy to do!

11. In2It Waterproof Eyebrow Colour
     - Since I've mentioned that brown smokey eyes is my favorite look nowadays, I want to share with you my favorite thing to use in executing brown smokey eyes --- the In2It Waterproof Eyebrow Colour! I just think that it saves time from looking for a brown eyeshadow and an eyebrow powder! In just a single product I can do both my eye makeup and my brows! Other than the Essence Eyebrow Stylist Set, this is also and still one of my favorite eyebrow powders everrrr! :) It's for P299.00 and I got mine last 2011 and I think I need to buy me a new one since I'm about to empty the palette already!

So, what are your current favorites? :)

Stay awesome and accomplish your mission! :)
