Product RAVE-iew: Jazzy France Sleek Matte Eyeshadow

I rarely buy eyeshadows from the local cosmetic brands and I rarely buy makeup products impulsively BUT when I see a product that I know is going to be worth every cent, I wouldn't even think twice! Especially when I am sure it is going to help me and my makeup clients hugely.

I first saw this eyeshadow palette from Paul Unating (Pro Hair and Makeup Artist) and Kris Lumagui (Filipina YouTube vlogger). It immediately caught my attention because based on Paul's makeup tutorial video in YouTube and Ate Kris' photo on Facebook, it looks really promising. However, I just let it slip until I visited SM North Edsa this one time and saw this palette as I was exploring (as usual) the makeup section at Watsons.

Glitter Tear Makeup Featuring FS Features and Shades Cosmetics

FS Features and Shades (formerly known as FS Cosmetics and Fanny Serrano Cosmetics) is one of my favorite local cosmetics. I consider it as one of the high-end brands of the local cosmetics here in the Philippines. One of their best-selling products is their very popular powder foundations and I actually collected all shades back in 2011 or 2012. I even did a review on it and you can read it here. However, when FS Features and Shades changed management and rebranded, they changed most of their products and added more to their line of cosmetics. They still have the powder foundations but they changed the packaging which, in all honesty, looks way professional and more sleek now.

Anyway, last month, FS Features and Shades invited me to join their FS Challenge Eyeshadow Art. So, yes, the focus of this makeup challenge is the eye makeup. The contest ran the whole May and they chose different winners weekly.

This is the look that I came up with.

MAD Manila (The Newest Concept Store in The Metro)

Last March, I was invited by Ms. Aileen Lubrido and Ms. Julie Ong, the owner of Mad Manila Lifestyle Hub, to attend the grand launch of MAD Manila Concept Store. According to their Facebook page, this will be the new home of more than 80 online and offline brand partners from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, offering the latest trends at their best prices. Sadly, I was not able to attend because of my busy schedule that time but they are so nice, they told me that I can still visit their store anytime I am free.

A couple of weeks ago, I was finally able to visit them! They are located at #60 EK Bldg. Don Antonio, Holy Spirit Drive, Quezon City. The day that I visited them was during their Mother's Day special sale. I came there with my sister and with a few of my fellow YouTube vloggers. Our visit at MAD Manila wouldn't be as much fun without these awesome people here!

My Ever Bilena Big Beauty Challenge Journey

Last December, Ever Bilena Cosmetics, Inc. hosted this makeup competition called the Big Beauty Challenge. It was a contest open for all makeup artists, vloggers, and makeup enthusiasts. All you have to do is post a makeup video on your Facebook account (1 minute min. and 3 minutes max.) using products from Ever Bilena/Careline. It ran for 10 weeks and in each week, they set different themes. Ever Bilena Cosmetics, Inc. chose one winner per week/per theme who each received Php10,000 as a prize! Then those 10 weekly winners were the ones who battled at the Grand Finale. The prize was a whopping Php50,000 in cash! My gosh!

I did not bother to join at first because I was quite unsure of how everything runs but when I saw the entries of those people who joined, I was encouraged to join. Also, the themes were very interesting! So, yeah, I decided to join! :)

Finally, the most sought-after drugstore foundation and most-requested product from L'Oreal Paris is here in the Philippines! L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte 24HR Foundation finally made it to the L'oreal counters here in our beloved country. A lot of Filipinas fell in love with this foundation because of its capability to withstand our ridiculously hot weather here in PH.

Shopping at BeautyMNL! (Quick and Easy Online Shopping)

Nowadays, some people prefer online shopping than physical or traditional shopping. It is more convenient as you can just shop from the comfort of your home and wait for your purchases to be delivered at your doorstep. It saves time and effort. Yes, it's very helpful... but personally, I am not really fond of shopping online. Not that I hate it nor am I against it, it's just that it kills me to wait for days for my items to be delivered! Hahaha. I can't stand it, really. I get all too excited in choosing products and then I have to wait for days? Ah-ah.
